New bespoke service is offered as hydraulics firm expands

2011-10-03

A firm of Cornish hydraulics experts is to provide a new bespoke service for its customers who are feeling the economic pinch or need a helping hand to start up.

Falmouth-based Duchy Hydraulics has created the post of commercial manager and appointed Laurence Cosnett to take up the role.

He will provide one point of call for hydraulic engineering expertise and bespoke parts supply through Cornwall and the South West.

Laurence said: "We want to look after our regular and smaller engineering customers who perhaps are feeling the strains of the current economic climate or simply want additional support as they begin trading."

With more than 20 years experience within business management, Laurence is also considered a key appointment at Duchy Hydraulics.

The business is currently expanding, not only taking on new staff, but also working in collaboration with Danser Engineering, based in Padstow, which provides fault finding, maintenance and exceptional engineering services.

Laurence said: "I'm here to grow the business by providing an even better service, speed of response and tailored solutions. By engaging new customers we can really use our expertise to go to any location, provide niche products quickly and become key partner on hydraulic projects."

Managing director of Duchy Hydraulics, Richard Lovell, said: "With a background in both large corporate and small business management, Laurence brings fresh dynamism and a seasoned business development knowledge to Duchy's specialist team."
